A Royal Night At The Delta Queen

Last weekend we went for the dinner and show on the Delta Queen. The boat, docked at Coolidge Park, is certainly beautiful, and has a very interesting history. Whether you have dinner there or not, I recommend you go just to see the beauty of the Delta Queen.

The prix fixe dinner is by reservation with seating beginning at 6:30 and show at 8:00. We were given a choice of beef or fish, which order must be placed and payment made at the time you make your reservation. The total came to approximately $41 per person, including tax and gratuity. Wine is served with the meal and included in the price.

On the evening of our visit, the entertainment, Laura Sable and Bill Wiemuth, performed their final show prior to getting married on Aug. 10. Their show detailed the history of the Delta Queen.
